The latest on the players Manchester United have been linked with this January - and who might leave the club...
Sky Sports News' latest update on Manchester United...
United are interested in signing Wolves striker Raul Jimenez and are looking at Lyon's Moussa Dembele.
Meanwhile, United are closing in on a deal with Sporting Lisbon to sign Bruno Fernandes, claims leading Portuguese journalist Filipe Dias.
Donny van de Beek is a player Manchester United like and have been watching for some time, but the Ajax star ruled out leaving the Dutch giants in this window and suggested he might stay in Amsterdam next season too.
However, United have ruled out making a bid to bring Christian Eriksen to Old Trafford in this window. Reports have linked United with a £20m offer for the Tottenham midfielder, who is out of contract at the end of the season, but no bid has been made.
Meanwhile, Ashley Young has turned down an offer of a one-year contract extension from Manchester United and looks increasingly likely to leave Old Trafford this month, according to Sky in Italy.
Solskjaer has said United are looking at transfer options in central midfield, after injuries to Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer faces questions about Sporting Lisbon's Bruno Fernandes amid reports he went to watch the midfielder in action
Asked about the report, Solskjaer said: "We go back to speculation. We go and watch games all the time but where I've been and when I've been somewhere is irrelevant.
"That's another player that's in a different club and I can't speak about."
Analysis: Fernandes may be one of three or four
Sky Sports News reporter James Cooper...
"Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may not have been prepared to fully reveal his weekend location, but it appears the club could be looking at a midfielder they've been linked with before, Sporting Lisbon's Bruno Fernandes.
"Reports in the national press have claimed Solskjaer and Mike Phelan were in Lisbon on Sunday for Sporting's game with Porto, claims that were acknowledged by the United boss but not denied.
"In truth, of course, he could have been in Portugal to watch any one of the players on show, but with data already collected on Fernandes by United scouts over the past few months, this may have been an opportunity for Solskjaer and Phelan to run the rule over the player personally as their search for a midfielder intensifies.

Bruno Fernandes has been linked with United for several seasons
"It doesn't mean that Fernandes will ultimately arrive at Old Trafford, but if he was the focus of a personal visit then he's certainly someone United are thinking seriously about. He may be one of three or four players being considered.
"The 25-year-old signed a new contract with Sporting in November and whilst he was linked with a move to United last summer, he was also categorically ruled out as a transfer target.
"But Manchester United are in need of bodies in their midfield and were already actively looking at transfer options before the injuries to Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba.
"Of the current squad only Juan Mata was a January acquisition, Manchester United traditionally don't do much business or successful business in this window.
"Solskjaer does have the resources to bring in players and has said he wants his squad to emerge stronger rather than weaker from this window. He is also preparing to lose his captain so perhaps a purchase is on the cards?"
The latest players Manchester United have been linked with...
Borussia Dortmund are determined to keep hold of Jadon Sancho in January despite interest from a host of clubs from around Europe, according to Sky in Germany. Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Barcelona have all made initial enquiries.
Manchester United are interested in James Maddison, but are wary that it is difficult to conclude big transfers in January. Leicester's attacking midfielder has been linked with a move to United this month and he is a player who the club's recruitment team have run the rule over this season.
Manchester United are interested in signing Benfica midfielder Gedson Fernandes. The 20-year-old Portugal international is one of a number of targets for the club ahead of the January transfer window.
United are also one of several Premier League clubs considering a bid for Reading's talented young striker Danny Loader. The 20-year-old is out of contract this summer and talks on a new deal have stalled.
After United's 0-0 draw with Wolves in the FA Cup on January 4, Solskjaer refused to rule out moving for Wolves' Raul Jimenez, saying only: "I can't comment on speculation".

The latest on those who could leave Manchester United this January...
Inter Milan are in talks with Manchester United over signing Ashley Young, and are ready to offer the England international an 18-month contract, according to Sky in Italy.
Young has turned down an offer of a one-year contract extension from Manchester United and looks increasingly likely to leave Old Trafford this month, according to Sky in Italy.
Paul Pogba's agent Mino Raiola says the midfielder's "heart" is with Manchester United - but adds he needs to be playing in a side capable of winning trophies.
Pogba, who returned to United from Juventus in 2016, admitted in June that he was considering leaving Old Trafford for a "new challenge", while Raiola added a month later that he was in the process of finding his client a new club.
But the 26-year-old remained with United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said this month he will not be sold in the January transfer window.

Speculation continues regarding Paul Pogba's future at Manchester United
Atletico Madrid are interested in midfielder Nemanja Matic, according to Sky in Italy.
Matic has made just six appearances at United this season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and has not played in the Premier League since a 2-0 defeat at West Ham in September.
Inter Milan, who are led by Matic's former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, were understood to be considering the Serbia international in October as one of their targets for the January transfer window, according to Sky in Italy.
Who else could depart Old Trafford?
Jesse Lingard [The Sun]; Tahith Chong, Juventus [The Sun]; Chris Smalling, Juventus and Inter Milan [Gazzetta dello Sport]; Paul Pogba, Real Madrid and Juventus [Daily Express]; Luke Shaw, Leicester City [The Sunday Mirror.

Analysis: What to expect this January
Sky Sports News' James Cooper...
"Regarding Paul Pogba, who suggested he wanted to leave in the summer, unless a swap deal can be arranged there appears to be no one, including Real Madrid, who can afford the £150m fee United are demanding for the Frenchman.
"Nemanja Matic looks the most likely player to be a target for other clubs as he is no longer first choice in the centre of midfield but, again, his wages might be a stumbling block.
"As a possible replacement, Manchester United are interested in Benfica midfielder Gedson Fernandes.
"Other departures seem unlikely with Marcus Rojo and Eric Bailly just coming back from injury, along with Timothy Fosu-Mensah. A loan out for the latter seems less of an option with the manager happy to blood youngsters."
